Title: Love Letter to Life
So this is my love letter to life
This my love letter to summer afternoons
Nice guys, and sweet girls, and dancing in the rain
I want to say I appreciate every girl who isn’t perfect
And every girl who is
Every boy with a geeky smile
And every asshole with the perfect body
I’m so high on romance, on the perfect relationship
And the most horrible breakup
Sunrise, sunset, they’re all beautiful
You can’t have candy everyday, or watch…
You’ll crave chopped liver
Sand between my toes and my best friend reaching out her hand
Boring mornings spent sitting watching the rain
The adventure of your life, on a Paris rollercoaster
Watching fireworks, and drinking hot chocolate
This is my love letter to sushi and crying yourself to sleep
Laughing till you cry, and screaming till your voice gives out
I want to live life, like a comedy, a horror movie
A love story, a documentary…a home made video tape
I don’t have time to do anything but live
This is a toast, to sleeping till five
To laughing, and singing “I will survive”
To different kinds of best friends, and to ex-boyfriends
This is my love letter to failing math, to sucking at volleyball
Jump the fence, break into the house, and stay at the park till you see stars
Blare the music so loud you can’t hear yourself think, and enjoy the silence
Pet strange cats and get scratched, be pissed off and overdramatic
Apologize till your blue in the face, and say fuck off when you mean it
This is my love letter to swimming in your clothes
To sandcastles and fantasia and girly movies, and seaweed fights too
Fall off the roof and go to the hospital, and sit at your desk and get paper cuts
So basically, this is my love letter to life
To being me, being you, and being everything in between
