Notes: One night before I fell asleep,
I was looking at the stars from my bedroom window,
and that's what inspired me to write the song.
I guess it's about a journey through the land of the dreams.

I look up at the starry sky,
I gaze into its vastness great,
and as the moon floats through the sky
I wonder at my unknown fate,
for in the stars the answer lies,
shining with a silv'ry light,
painted on the midnight skies,
brightening as the hour grows late.
All is well within my sight,
as this earth, my home is lulled
to sleep by this eternal night,
to dream what prophets once foretold.
I hear their voices call to me
to follow golden threads of time,
ringing for eternity
the prophecies from days of old.
I will drift on midnight breeze
drinking in the fresh night air.
I will sail the moonlit seas,
to search for secrets they may bear.
I will sort the sands of time,
and search through mighty forests green!
I will read through ancient rhyme,
might I find my answer there!
And in the morning when I rise
after my adventure grand,
I'll see the world with brighter eyes,
enlightened by this wondrous land!
A world in which the earth is pure,
and all enchanted dreams do live!
All sorrow music there does cure,
we have that music in our hands!
And in your heart is where you'll find
the key to that most sacred door.
